Hasta 267 mil pesos por un boleto en reventa para el Pumas-Cruz Azul

Ciudad de México., a 20 de mayo del 2026.-  Los aficionados al futbol en México enfrentan una nueva nube inflacionaria. Asistir a la final entre Pumas y Cruz Azul puede costar casi el equivalente al enganche de un coche nuevo o la renta de un departamento promedio en la Ciudad de México por un año. En los márgenes de la reventa digital, las entradas para el encuentro definitivo que se disputará el domingo en el estadio Olímpico Universitario alcanzan cotizaciones estratosféricas que van de 9 mil 559 pesos hasta 267 mil 498 pesos.

Los clubes capitalinos realizaron ayer la preventa exclusiva para socios y tarjetahabientes a través de Ticketmaster. Desde la primeras horas, los usuarios reportaron fallas críticas en el sistema, pantallas con errores al procesar el pago y filas virtuales que superaron 100 mil personas en espera, mirando un contador que avanzaba a cuentagotas en busca de un lugar en los estadios sede de la definición por el título.

“Ticketmaster liberó lo que quiso”, reprocharon usuarios en redes sociales. “No permitió comprar otras secciones que no fueran plateas y zonas preferentes. Fueron 500 pesos de puro recargo. ¿Hasta cuándo piensan solucionar sus malos servicios? Pasamos horas de espera y, cuando por fin pensamos que podríamos comprar boletos, salen con la ocurrencia de que su aplicación se cae. Sólo estafan a la gente”.

La distancia entre el futbol real y el de las pantallas es ahora un abismo financiero. Pumas anunció oficialmente que los boletos para el recinto de Ciudad Universitaria tendrían un costo de entre 400 y mil 150 pesos (sin contar cargos por servicio), según la zona de las gradas. Los abonados del equipo auriazul, que pagaron su lealtad al principio de la temporada, miraron el colapso de reojo, con la tranquilidad de tener su asiento asegurado.

Para el resto de los seguidores, el laberinto comenzó poco antes de que concluyera la primera fa-se de distribución. En la plata-forma de reventa Viagogo, los tickets más accesibles se ofrecieron en 9 mil 559 pesos –9 mil pesos más que su valor original– y los más exclusivos, ubicados en la cabecera sur, rozaron 267 mil 500 pesos, un incremento de 200 veces su precio inicial. Otra de las páginas dedicadas al mercado secundario, StubHub, fijó las localidades en un rango de entre 12 mil 900 y 40 mil 500 pesos.

El negocio digital

El ritual del aficionado moderno ya no incluye banderas ni madrugadas en las taquillas de un estadio, sino la frustración del negocio digital. “Es frustrante tener que levantarse a las 6 de la mañana, sacar un CVC dinámico, ser el número 4 mil 500 de la fila y, por el mal sistema de Ti-cketmaster, no poder pagar. Son un asco. Nos dejan sin la posibilidad de ir a la final a ver a nuestros equipos”, señalaron seguidores afectados.

Para el partido de ida en el estadio Ciudad de los Deportes, Cruz Azul repitió el mecanismo de venta. Diseñó una escala de precios oficiales que iba de mil 100 (para personas con discapacidad) hasta 3 mil 900 pesos en la zona preferente VIP. Sin embargo, los abonados celestes descubrieron con indignación que Ticketmaster sólo les permitía elegir entre cinco sectores –plateas y preferentes–, a pesar de haber acompañado al equipo durante la fase regular.

La reventa no esperó su turno. Aunque la preventa era un proceso cerrado para socios y tarjetahabientes, Viagogo ya ofertaba localidades para la final de ida en precios que oscilaron entre 8 mil 289 y 12 mil 232 pesos. Este miércoles se abrirá el sistema para el público general. Cientos de aficionados anticipan otro naufragio masivo frente a las pantallas, sobre todo porque la disponibilidad es mínima. “Los boletos asignados para esta preventa se han agotado”, confirmó Ticketmaster en su sitio oficial.

Pintan el Azul y protestan designación arbitral

Con el regreso de Cruz Azul a la colonia Nochebuena, la alcaldía Benito Juárez anunció la implementación del operativo denominado Ladrillera, en el que personal de Protección Civil y elementos policiales realizarán labores de resguardo, vigilancia y atención en las inmediaciones del inmueble y demarcaciones aledañas. “Asimismo, se llevarán a cabo diversas acciones de supervisión para impedir el indebido apartado de lugares en la vía pública”, informó el alcalde Luis Mendoza Acevedo.

A la par de la seguridad, diversos trabajadores de Cruz Azul transportaron ayer rodillos, brochas de corte, galones de pintura y cartones al antiguo Estadio Azul para devolverle la identidad celeste en la serie contra Pumas. El equipo cerró su segunda etapa de local en dicho recinto en diciembre de 2024 debido a problemas administrativos, logísticos y al acuerdo de jugar temporalmente en el Olímpico Universitario ante las remodelaciones del estadio Azteca. Desde entonces, el América quedó de único anfitrión y personalizó las paredes con los colores de su escudo.

Por la tarde, la Comisión de Árbitros designó a Ismael Rosario López Peñuelas y Daniel Quintero Huitrón como los silbantes de los encuentros de ida y vuelta, respectivamente, de la final del futbol mexicano. Sin embargo, al ser notificados de la decisión, los directivos de La Máquina ingresaron una protesta formal ante el organismo para revocar la participación de Quintero Huitrón, quien ya dirigió el empate entre los dos equipos (2-2) durante la fase regular.

La inconformidad surge por una imagen que circuló ayer en redes sociales y televisión. Según las tomas de la cadena TUDN, luego del pase de los felinos frente al Pachuca, el técnico de Pumas, Efraín Juárez, se acercó al colegiado para decirle textualmente: “Ojalá pites tú la final, porque estuvo espectacular, cabrón”, sembrando dudas de su imparcialidad en el entorno celeste.

WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM WINDOWS PHONE?

And so, following the Galaxy Round, here’s the Galaxy Edge. If you take the basic shape and concept, it’s the spitting image of the curved-screen Youm prototype spied at CES a little less than two years ago.

Now, though, it’s a for-real smartphone you can buy. I’ve been testing it out in Japan, where it launched instead of the Note 4, although both the Note 4 and the Note Edge will eventually be available in the US. Fortunately.

The ability to shrink the likes of Chrome and Google Maps to a popup window and layer it on top of other apps is also useful; I’d love to see something similar on the iPhone 6 Plus.

Despite the unusual, curved screen, it still packs all of the good things that made the Note 4 such a strong choice. But bragging rights aside, is there enough of an argument for a curved screen? Should you just get the Note 4 anyway?

METAL VS. PLASTIC PHONE BODIES?

The exploration of space stands as one of humanity’s greatest achievements. While history has hailed the men and women who reached the cosmos, and those who helped them get there, much of the infrastructure that sent them skyward lies forgotten and dilapidated.

And how does Apple’s biggest phone compare to the Note Edge? Well, both remain unwieldy to grip, and the Note Edge is wider. However, the edged screen nuzzles into my hand better and those software tweaks mentioned above give it the advantage. However, just like the stylus, there’s a while before you get the knack of all the little provisions Samsung’s made to ease users into this screen size.

HARDWARE

Its curves are subjective and divisive; my friends and colleagues have offered up reactions ranging from outright bemusement to adoration. The screen looks great, with the punchy contrast and sharpness that’s been a Samsung flagship mainstay for years. We’ll get back to that edge, but it’s the headline part of a 5.6-inch Quad-HD+ display.

This means a little chunk of extra screen makes the phone just less than 4mm wider, and around 2mm shorter, than the Note 4.

ONE-HANDED USE

Both come with software tricks like shrinkable keyboards as well as a new, tiny floating menu that can be stuck to the outer edge of the screen. This duplicates the capacitive button row, which could be a solution of sorts for lefties.

I can even make this secondary menu transparent, allowing me to maintain all that screen space. The ability to shrink the likes of Chrome and Google Maps to a popup window and layer it on top of other apps is also useful I’d love to see something similar on the iPhone 6 Plus.

SOFTWARE

If you’re looking to learn more about the stylus’ uses, I’d advise a quick read of Brad’s Galaxy Note 4 review, because the setup is identical here. Yes, there are TouchWiz bits running on Android 4.4 KitKat, but Samsung continues to clear away unnecessary bloat and options.

It’s still a work in progress, though, and I feel the settings menus are particularly obtuse compared to other Android phones — and especially iOS. It takes some getting used to.

But let’s focus on what’s different here: that edge. There are two display modes you can flit between: a slender, unassuming bar that can display a customized message and a more substantial column that attempts to offer extra functionality, notifications or context-dependent menus for certain apps, like the camera.

The front-facing camera is also a top-end sensor compared to the competition, 3.7 megapixels with an f/1.9 lens.

While I’m not a huge selfie taker, you’ll have to ask our Senior Selfie Editor, but I do take a whole lot of photos with my smartphone, so I was interested to see how Samsung’s newest smartphone camera handled.
